Every day, one of your neighbors is helping right here in your community providing hope and comfort to someone devastated by disaster. Last year, the American Red Cross in Southwestern New Mexico’s local volunteers responded to more than 50 disasters - mostly home fires – across its seven counties.

Every day, a Red Cross volunteer is teaching someone to save the life of a friend or connecting a family member with a loved one in the military. Red Cross volunteers are everyday heroes.
